Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and One-Stop Script Junction ("OSSJ," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of ossj.org and any related content, tools, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our related policies, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.

We may update these Terms at any time in our discretion. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last Updated" date below. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

About One-Stop Script Junction

OSSJ is an informational platform that helps users find and compare pricing on FDA-approved generic medications from third-party pharmacies, review evidence-based disease and treatment information, and evaluate drug alternatives. OSSJ is not a pharmacy, healthcare provider, insurance plan, or pharmaceutical manufacturer, and does not dispense, prescribe, or sell medications. Any pricing, availability, or pharmacy information displayed is for informational purposes only and may change without notice.

No Medical or Pharmacy Services; No Doctor–Patient Relationship

The content on the Service is provided for general informational purposes only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Service does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Do not disregard, avoid, or delay obtaining medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional because of information on the Service.

Eligibility and Territory

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is directed to individuals located in the United States and references U.S. regulatory frameworks (including FDA approvals). We do not represent that the Service is appropriate or available for use outside the United States.

User Accounts and Security

We may require you to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or suspected breach.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
• Post or transmit content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or harmful.
• Collect or process personal information about others without consent or in violation of law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security, including by introducing malware, scraping, or rate-limiting circumvention.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code for any part of the Service except as permitted by law.
• Use automated means (bots, crawlers) to access the Service without our prior written permission.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Information Accuracy; No Endorsement

We endeavor to provide accurate, current, and evidence-based information, but the Service may contain errors, be incomplete, or become outdated. Pricing, availability, and pharmacy details are subject to change and may vary by location, insurance status, and other factors. We do not endorse, warrant, or guarantee any specific pharmacy, medication, treatment, product, service, or opinion mentioned on the Service.

Pharmacy Listings, Third-Party Services, and Transactions

OSSJ provides comparisons and links to third-party pharmacies and service providers. We do not control and are not responsible for any third-party websites, services, products, or customer support. We are not a party to transactions between you and any pharmacy or provider, and we do not verify fulfillment, inventory, pricing, licensing status, or regulatory compliance of third parties. You are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying any third-party before engaging in a transaction, including confirming licensure and compliance with applicable state and federal laws.

We may receive compensation, advertising fees, or affiliate commissions from third parties in connection with listings or referrals. Such relationships do not influence our commitment to present information transparently; however, they may affect placement or availability of certain offers. We encourage you to consider multiple sources when making purchasing decisions.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, software, and other content, is owned by OSSJ or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any portion of the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms or with our prior written consent.

User Content and Feedback

If you submit reviews, ratings, comments, suggestions, or other content ("User Content"), you represent that you have all rights necessary to do so, and that your User Content does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any rights of others or applicable law. You grant OSSJ a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display your User Content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the Service. We may remove or refuse to display any User Content at our discretion.

Do not submit protected health information (PHI), prescriptions, payment card data, or other sensitive data via unsecure channels on the Service.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and disclose information. We are not a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA, but we strive to handle personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable U.S. privacy laws.

Communications and Electronic Notices

By providing contact information, you consent to receive communications from us, including emails, regarding your use of the Service. You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing. You may opt out of certain non-transactional communications as described in our Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

MEDICAL, DRUG, AND DISEASE INFORMATION PROVIDED VIA THE SERVICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT. ALWAYS SEEK THE ADVICE OF YOUR PHYSICIAN OR OTHER QUALIFIED HEALTH PROVIDER WITH QUESTIONS ABOUT A MEDICAL CONDITION OR MEDICATION.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; to the extent prohibited by law, some exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL OSSJ, ITS OWNER, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OSSJ’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) FOR ACCESS TO THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability; to the extent prohibited by law, some limitations may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OSSJ and its owner, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

Copyright Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice that includes: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (3) identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner. Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

You and OSSJ agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service (collectively, "Disputes") shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, except that either party may (a) seek relief in small claims court for eligible claims or (b) seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights.

The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration provision. The arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its applicable rules, and held in Monroe County, New York, unless the parties agree otherwise. You and OSSJ each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective, or representative action. The arbitrator may award relief only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to provide relief warranted by that party’s individual claim.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of the date you first agree to these Terms by sending your written opt-out notice, including your full name, mailing address, and the email address associated with your account (if any), to [email protected]. Your opt-out will be effective only if timely and if you can provide proof of transmission upon request.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any Dispute shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York and the United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Subject to the arbitration agreement above, the exclusive venue for any permissible court proceedings shall be the state or federal courts located in Monroe County, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason or no reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, but the following sections shall survive: Intellectual Property, User Content and Feedback (license to OSSJ), Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver, Governing Law and Venue, and Miscellaneous.

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without liability. We may also update these Terms as described above. If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.

Children’s Use

The Service is not directed to or intended for children under 13. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information through the Service, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Accessibility

We strive to make the Service accessible and usable for all individuals. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please contact us so we can assist and continue to improve the Service.

International Use and Export

The Service is intended for users in the United States. You are responsible for compliance with all local laws if you access the Service from outside the U.S. You agree not to use the Service in any manner that violates U.S. export control laws and regulations.

Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and OSSJ regarding the Service and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements on the subject matter. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision shall not be a waiver of that provision. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign these Terms without restriction. There are no third-party beneficiaries to these Terms.
